Exterior

Here are a few photos of the new Studio at Cedar Creek. The woodturning studio is 100 feet long and 40 feet wide with a covered porch on each end. The living quarters have an open concept great room, kitchen and dining area. All of the cabinets are custom made big leaf maple burl with cherry rails and stiles. All of the woodwork was made with many custom accents throughout the facility. Several turned and carved pieces of artwork created by many talented artists are on display throughout the living quarters. Three large bedrooms with king and queen size beds house the students with a large bathroom, pantry and utility room. The mantle over the fireplace and the columns in the kitchen and great room are sugar maple cluster burl logs. Just down the hallway is the studio that is 40 feet by 40 feet and is outfitted with equipment for all woodturning and woodworking projects. The POWERMATIC 4224 lathe with all the whistles and bells is a student favorite and the 24 inch POWERMATIC band saw makes quick work of any log, bowl blank or flatwork with incredible power and ease.
